Consultations
We offer private, confidential consultations for out-of-town patients that can be held over a secure video platform.
Complementary Photo Screening: Before scheduling a consultation, we will first have you send in a few representative photos for Dr. Raggio to assess.
Scheduling a Virtual Consultation: We are typically booked out about 4 – 6 weeks for the soonest available consultation date. We will charge a consultation fee and schedule a time with you that works for you.
Pre-Consultation Check-In: Our Patient Care Coordinator will be reaching out to you after booking your consultation to collect appropriate information, ensure all paperwork is completed, and answer any questions you may have.
Virtual Consultation: The Zoom consultation will be 45 minutes long. You will first meet with one of our nurses to discuss patient medical history. A majority of the meeting will be discussing surgical options with Dr. Raggio and answering any questions you have. At the end, our Patient Care Coordinator will finish the meeting by emailing you a quote based on the procedure you and Dr. Raggio spoke about. She will answer any questions you may have about the quote and schedule.
PREPARING FOR SURGERY
Booking Surgery: Surgical date availability and scheduling will be discussed with our Patient Care Coordinator.
One month before your surgery: You should plan to see your primary care physician to receive basic tests and labs, receive an EKG, and get cleared for anesthesia.
Three weeks before your surgery: One of our nurses will have a virtual pre-op with you to discuss the final details of your procedure, go over all supplies and medications related to the procedure, and answer any questions.
One day before your surgery: You will come into the office to meet Dr. Raggio in person where he can answer any last-minute questions. You will also be meeting with one of our nurses to go over medications and supplies.
AFTER YOUR SURGERY
We ask that you stay in the local area for 1- 10 days (the length of your stay depends on your procedure). This allows Dr. Raggio to follow up with you, check on your recovery, and ensure that you’re healing well. Once you are cleared by Dr. Raggio, you may fly home, and we can do further follow-ups virtually.
We understand that some of our patients are driving to Raggio MD from surrounding cities. These patients may return home to recover, but we ask that you return for post-op appointments. For many procedures, you may return home the same day or day 1 post-op and return for a follow-up visit in 7-10 days. For more extensive surgeries such as facelift and Necklift, we ask that you stay in town post-op day 1 and return for follow-up appointments of post-op days 5 and 10.
CONCIERGE SERVICES
Raggio MD provides first-class concierge services to ensure a seamless experience. We will ensure you have the care you need before, during, and after your cosmetic surgery. Our goal is to dramatically improve your surgery experience with the added assistance and attention you need for a speedy recovery. Our Patient Care Coordinator can help with many common services including:
- Transportation to & from all appointments, including your surgical day
