Medical, anatomical, and emotional health are the main factors regarding criteria for cosmetic surgical procedures. During your consultation, Dr. Raggio will help determine your surgical candidacy based on your desired goals and expectations, amongst other factors, (e.g., age, underlying health, allotted downtime, etc.). Patients electing for a procedure under anesthesia will require clearance by their PCP or Cardiologist prior to surgery.
Please note that for anesthesia safety, our surgery suite allows a maximum BMI of 32. If your BMI is above 32, or if you are more than 20 pounds away from your goal weight, please wait until you have reached those goals before scheduling a consultation. Additionally, you must be nicotine-free for at least eight weeks before and after your chosen procedure.
